ISOCARP Institute participates in WAVE consortium meeting Tartu
Last month, ISOCARP Institute participated in the WAVE (Erasmus+) transnational project meeting hosted in Tartu, Estonia by the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Two intense days where the consortium team had the opportunity to observe and experience firsthand the connection of the citizens to the water landscapes in winter. Sauna and swimming in the icy river were two examples of how the community interacts using the nature available in the area.
During the meeting, the consortium discussed the development of the living labs, the structure, and the content of the course that will take place from the 11th March 2022 to the 25th of May 2022. Moreover, we got the opportunity to hear the plans and ambitions for the upcoming Tartu 2024 European Capital of Culture (more information here: https://tartu2024.ee/ )
