Last week, our project managers Taliah, Tannya and Yoann were in Frankfurt (Germany) together with SPADES’ partners for a series of workshops. Six months into the project, it was time to collectively reflect on the research framework and intermediary outputs, steering our work to integrate soil into the planning practice.

Taliah presented an update of the research she leads on planning and design concepts with the potential to streamline soil integration. Tannya presented an update on her collection of case-studies, with more than 500 cases identified so far, where the aim is to collect inspirational good practices.

A key outcome for these days in Frankfurt was the outline of a workbook to support the 17 SPADES pilot cases in elaboration of their ‘diagnosis report’.
