JUSTNature's 6th Joint Project Meeting in Gzira, malta

Between November 12th and 15th, the ISOCARP Institute team joined the other 22 JUSTNature project partners to attend to sixth Join Project Meeting in Gzira, Malta. Entering the project’s fourth year, the consortium gathered to collectively review its progress and plan the upcoming steps towards ensuring the right to ecological space for everyone.

With a focus on maintaining and scaling up nature-based solutions, many of which have taken shape in recent months, the meeting provided a platform for partners to discuss strategies to secure the project’s lasting impact. In this context, the involvement of the private sector was a key topic, along with the project’s Entrepreneaurial Activation Process.

The ISOCARP Institute updated partners on the latest communication and dissemination activities in a presentation that also reviewed the exploitation strategies for the final phase of the project. We were additionally part of the session that covered the latest developments in the project’s co-governance schemes, as well as on the deployment of cross-learning activities, where we support cities in the exchange with their twinning cities.

Ensuring JUSTNature’s lasting sustainability is essential at this stage, and we are excited to be working on this purpose!
